This is a fun song my kids and I love to sing together, especially the chorus, as the words are so crazy and cute! It's called, "You Make Me Smile" by Uncle Kracker.
Whitney Houston was and still is my favorite female singer of all time, and I felt this way long before the recent event of her death. This is one of her songs which inspires me and makes me want to step out, do something, reach further, and not give up hope. It's a great song and I think you'll like it, too!
Even though this isn't exactly new, I still think it's an awesome song and appeals to so many people! It leaves you with a great feeling!
A friend sent this song to me not too long ago and I thought it was beautiful. My 2 older daughters (13 and 11) love it as well! I actually like all of this artist's songs--her name is "Jewel." I hope you all know how beautiful and magnificent you are!
This is one of my husband's and my favorite songs to sing together. We've been through some tough times (haven't we all?), but love has always kept us alive--it has also kept "us" alive, as in, our romance and our marriage!
So, in honor of Valentine's Day, I give you, "Love Will Keep Us Alive!"
I've always loved the passage in I Corinthians 13, especially the final line, "The greatest of these is love." Brandon Heath wrote a beautiful song inspired by this passage, which is a true testament to love-- its power, its beauty, and its endurance. It's simply called, "Love Never Fails".
I tried pasting the linky to the blog hop here, but it didn't work, sadly! Hopefully I'll figure it out by the next time around!
Anyways, here's the song I'll be singing this Saturday!
My husband loves the country band, "Lonestar", so I hear their songs a lot! Although I'm not the hugest fan of country music, this song struck a chord with me. I think anyone who is or who has ever experienced tough times when you've just got to "grin and bear it" will be able to relate to this song--and possibly even find inspiration in it!
